Every year the Downtown Carlisle Association pulls together a list of the larger annual special events that dramatically affect downtown Carlisle and borough-wide traffic and visitation levels.  The list is not only of downtown events, but activities and events at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, AHEC, local schools and colleges, and national holidays and days of importance.  “We wanted an all inclusive calendar that noted the special days and holidays that would affect conducting business in downtown.” stated Glenn White, Executive Director of the DCA.  “This list, while a work in progress, shows many of the days where businesses will see an influx of patrons, and traffic, in downtown Carlisle.”  Any additions to the list can be submitted to the DCA at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  A comprehensive, and up-to-date list can be found at http://www.LoveCarlisle.com .
