The Downtown Carlisle Association and the Greater Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce are pleased to invite you to participate in the 12th annual “Savor the Flavor – A Taste of Carlisle.”  Savor the Flavor is a food tasting event that will take place at the Holland Union Building at Dickinson College on Sunday, March 11, 2012, from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

The cost to participate as a food serving vendor is FREE for all Carlisle Chamber members or Carlisle Downtown businesses!  It’s a great opportunity to promote your business or special upcoming sales promotion.  A local restaurant/bar owner actually marks an upswing in sales the week following Savor the Flavor.  It’s affordable advertising that works, all while helping to promote Carlisle.  Participation for non-chamber members or businesses outside of downtown Carlisle is $50 for a 10x10 space.

Entering your restaurant or business at is as easy as clicking here to download the official “Savor the Flavor – A Taste of Carlisle” Vendor Registration Form & Participation Agreement.  Just complete both forms and fax back to the Carlisle Chamber at (717) 243-4446.  The deadline to register is March 2th, 2012.

This event has become a wonderful mid-winter Sunday afternoon social event for so many in Carlisle,” stated Glenn White, Executive Director of the DCA, “Tickets are very affordable and the food is wonderful!” he added.

Tickets are on sale now for $15.00 in advance/$20.00 at the door, and children 12 years of age and younger are free!  We’ve taken steps to make Savor the Flavor even more family friendly, fun, and affordable.  We are anticipating an attendance of 400+ for this year’s event.

For additional information, please contact the Chamber at (717) 243-4515.  We thank you for your consideration.  And remember, the proceeds from the event benefit the hosting organizations as well as a portion of the proceeds going to the Salvation Army, the United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County, and Project S.H.A.R.E.
