Andalusia started pouring sangria and serving plates of Marcona almonds, roasted peppers and Spanish omelets Monday at 26 N. Hanover St. The nearly 100-seat restaurant takes over the former Argana Moroccan Cuisine which closed last year. The restaurant specializes in Spanish and Moroccan tapas.

Every bank turned away John and Nadeen Bogonis when they wanted to transform a rundown building into luxury apartments and a cafe. So, the couple cashed in their retirement savings and bought the site just off the square in Carlisle in March 2008. Weeks later, with their future hung on the building’s success, the stock market took a first, bruising plunge. Yet, four years later, the Bogonises are owners or part-owners of seven properties along the east side of Hanover Street. They’ve opened their newest business, the Carlisle Bakery, this month. The list of other potential projects grows monthly.

The Cumberland Valley takes center stage this April as a highlighted premiere destination in US Airways Magazine. The April edition ofthe magazine, which is available to travelers on all US Airways flights, will be read by some 3.1 million fliers, according to the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau.

The Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s (CPYB) lineup for the upcoming 2011/2012 Season promises inspiring programming and soaring live orchestral music. This varied repertoire of classical and modern musical compositions are performed by distinguished musical giants of the region, which include: the venerable Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra (HSO) under the direction of Maestro Stuart Malina and Assistant Conductor Tara Simoncic, the compelling Central Pennsylvania Symphony conducted by Cheung Chau, and the richly blended string ensemble Concertante led by Xiao-Dong Wang.
